What if I need to pause for more than 30 seconds?
You're in control—hit pause anytime and your work is safe. The accountability structure only runs when you choose. Take breaks whenever you need them.
How exactly do the red warnings work?
As you approach the 30-second pause limit, the screen progressively turns red to remind you to keep writing. The closer you get to the limit, the more intense the red becomes. Start typing again and the screen instantly returns to normal.
What if I accidentally pause the writing session?
You can resume by clicking the Resume button. When paused, the 30-second timer stops completely—your text is safe. The timer only counts down when you're actively in a writing session and stop typing.
Is this too stressful?
It's accountability you control, not punishment. You get 30 seconds to think, progressive warnings, and full pause control. The structure keeps you going when life gets in the way—but you're always in charge.
